ABNT2 is the Brazilian standard keyboard. It builds on the ISO shape — tall Enter and an extra \ | key beside the left Shift — and adds one more key between . and the right Shift for / ?, which is why the right Shift is shorter than on other boards. Ç sits right of L, ' " is the top-left key, the accents ´ ` and ~ ^ are dead keys near Enter, and ; and : take the key that US boards use for the slash. AltGr adds / ? ° on Q, W and E and ¹ ² ³ £ ¢ ¬ on the number row. Many ABNT2 boards also have an extra comma key on the numeric keypad.
Press every key including the two Brazil-specific ones: \ beside the left Shift and / beside the right Shift. Both light up on the virtual keyboard when they work. Test the dead keys ´ and ~ as single presses, then hold Shift on the number row and AltGr on Q, W and E. A key that counts two per press has a bouncing switch; a key that never lights is dead.
The ABNT2 slash key sends a code (IntlRo) that a few programs do not recognise, so it may seem dead in them. This tester reads the physical key, so if it lights up here the switch is fine and the problem is in the application. Try remapping it in the game or with a keyboard utility.
