The Ukrainian layout is ЙЦУКЕН with four letters changed: І replaces Ы on the S key, Ї replaces Ъ right of P, Є replaces Э right of L, and Ґ is typed with AltGr+Г. The top-left key types the apostrophe instead of Ё, and its Shift symbol is the hryvnia sign ₴. Everything else, including Х Ж Б Ю on the punctuation keys and the shifted symbols " № ; % : ? * ( ), matches the Russian arrangement. Keyboards are ANSI-shaped and dual-printed with Latin letters.
Type through every row; the tester lights physical keys, so it works in Ukrainian, Russian or English input mode. Verify the four Ukrainian-specific keys individually, then hold AltGr with the Г key for Ґ and Shift on the number row for № and ₴. The record bar shows the real character you typed, which makes it easy to confirm the correct input language is active.
Yes. The physical keys are identical; only the printed legends of І, Ї, Є and the apostrophe differ. Enable the Ukrainian layout in your operating system and use this page as the reference for those four positions. Each key will light up in the same place either way.
